THE EMOTION CODE

A gentle way to let go of what you have been carrying.

The Emotion Code is the method sitting underneath most of my sessions. This page explains it plainly, in ordinary words, so you know what you are saying yes to before you book anything.

Nothing here is a promise or a diagnosis. It is simply how the work goes, and what people often notice.

IN PLAIN WORDS

What is the Emotion Code?

The Emotion Code is a simple method for finding emotional energy that stayed with you, and gently letting it go.

Emotions are meant to move. We feel them, and they pass. But when something is too big, too fast, or too unsafe to feel at the time, the feeling can stay in the body instead of moving through. That is what this work calls a trapped emotion.

Some of them are old. A few go back to childhood, and some go back further than you have any memory of. You do not need to remember them, and you do not need to explain them, for us to work with them.

WHERE THEY COME FROM

Life leaves an imprint. They're called Trapped Emotions.

Most people have never been taught how to process emotions. These are some of the experiences that tend to leave an emotional imprint behind.

  • Losing someone you love
  • The end of a relationship, or a divorce
  • Pregnancy loss
  • Long stretches of stress, at home or at work
  • Money worry
  • Illness, or caring for someone who is unwell
  • Keeping your feelings to yourself
  • A quiet sense of not being good enough
  • The way you speak to yourself when no one is listening
  • Trauma of any kind: physical, emotional, or mental
  • Rejection, betrayal, or being left
  • Abuse or neglect

If you recognise yourself in more than one of these, you are in very normal company. Most people do.

WHY THIS WORK

Emotions have a weight to them.

We all know the difference in the body between fear and anger, and love and gratitude. One tightens. The other settles. It is not an idea, it is something you can feel.

When an emotion stays with you, that weight stays too. Sometimes people notice it in the body. More often it shows up quietly, in how you think, in the choices you make, and in how you react to an ordinary day.

Letting go of what is trapped can help take that weight off, so you feel more settled, and more like yourself again.

It is possible to let an emotion go simply by allowing yourself to feel it fully. Most of us were never taught how to do that, and life rarely offers the space. So it stays. This work is a gentle way to find what stayed, and release it.

THE SIMPLE VERSION

What are trapped emotions?

Trapped emotions are pieces of emotional energy still being carried from something that happened. A loss, a fright, a hard season, something that was said and never put down.

They are made of energy, the same as the rest of you. People often describe them as small balls of energy sitting somewhere in the body, each one with its own particular feeling to it.

They can sit quietly for years. They can also show up in how you feel physically, in your relationships, in your work, or in a sense of being disconnected from people even when you are surrounded by them.

Each one came from a real moment. Some of them are yours. Some were absorbed from someone close to you, or inherited, and you have simply been carrying them ever since.

Trapped emotions are found one at a time, and released one at a time. Never in groups or bundles.

Each one had its own effect on you, so each one gets its own moment. That is why the work is unhurried, and why it tends to unfold layer by layer rather than all at once.

Find your inner peace.

HOW IT WORKS

How are trapped emotions released?

A simple four step process. It is gentle, and it is painless. Nothing is relived, and your body decides what is safe to let go.

Discover

Your subconscious mind works like an incredibly intelligent internal computer. It already knows exactly what you need to find balance across five key areas of health: physical, emotional, environmental, spiritual, and intellectual. Using my intuitive, God-given gifts, I connect with your subconscious mind on an energetic level, so we can uncover truths that only it can tell us.

Expose

Once I am energetically connected to your subconscious, I use specific questioning, a chart of emotions, and muscle testing to get precise answers about the imbalances that need addressing. Every question is chosen with care and intention, to expose the trapped emotions that are holding your health back.

Release

To release a trapped emotion, or correct an energetic imbalance, the Emotion Code combines the use of magnets with trusted, ancient healing principles. Using the power of clear intention, I clear the trapped emotion from your body, then confirm that the release has taken place.

Empower

Magnetic energy carries that intention, restoring emotional and physical balance in your body. Free from what you were carrying, and empowered in this new state, you may notice benefits straight away, or find that they develop gradually over the days that follow.

WHAT IT FEELS LIKE

Will you feel the release?

You might. People describe all sorts of things: yawning, which is a very common one, a wave of chills, a warm surge out to the hands and feet, or simply the emotion itself moving through.

But most people feel nothing at all during the session, which is completely normal, and it does not mean that nothing happened.

AFTERWARDS

What happens after a session?

Your body decides how much it can release, and in what order it wants to release it. I help find those answers from your body during our session.

Most of the time we find and release somewhere around five to ten trapped emotions in a thirty minute session. Sometimes it is only two or three, and that is completely fine. The body sets the pace, and it is worth trusting.

When you have released all you can for that day, the testing usually stops giving clear answers. That is simply the sign that we are done for now. Your body then takes a little time to process, often a day or two, sometimes four or five.

Everyone is different. How many emotions sit underneath one issue, how many are ready to come out at once, and how you feel afterwards is different for every person. The whole thing is shaped around you.

HEALING FOR ALL

Children carry things too.

We like to think of children as too young to be carrying anything. Most of the time they are simply carrying it differently, and with far fewer words for it.

This work is gentle enough for children, teenagers, and babies, whether they can speak yet or not. Very often what comes up in a child began before they were born, from what their mother was feeling during the pregnancy, and sometimes from a father, a sibling, or a grandparent who was close by at the time.

Children also pick things up at birth, at school, and from whatever the family is moving through. It can show in their behaviour, in their sleep, or in how they are with other children.

Big feelings that arrive fast
Worry that will not settle
Trouble sleeping, or bad dreams
Starting school, or struggling there
Changes at home
Grief, or missing someone
Being bullied, or bullying others
Sensitivity to everything around them
Shyness, or trouble making friends
After a hospital, medical, or dental visit
A hard birth, or a fright when very small
Simply as part of looking after their wellbeing

A session can be a lovely part of a family's wellbeing, whether or not something feels wrong. And if you would like support for more than one person at home, we can look at that together.

Please note: this is supportive work. It is not therapy or medical care, and it does not replace the care your child receives from their doctor.

IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION

Just ask me.

I have not put a long list of questions and answers here, because your question is probably yours, and a list would not answer it properly.

If something on this page raised a question, or you are wondering whether this is right for you, for your child, or for someone you love, send me a message and I will answer it myself. There is no obligation in asking.

WHEN YOU ARE READY

You do not need to arrive with the right words.

You only need to bring what feels present. We start there, we go at your pace, and you decide what you share.

If you would like to see the different sessions first, they are all on the sessions page.
